Yard bakery Refund policy

Yard Bakery – Hyderabad

Effective Date: 1st January 2024

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the cancellation, refund, and delivery terms applicable to all orders placed with Yard Bakery (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By placing an order through our website, phone, or WhatsApp, you agree to the terms outlined below.
 

1. Order Cancellation Policy

1.1 Customers may cancel their order within one (1) hour of placing the order to be eligible for a 100% refund.

1.2 Cancellation requests received after one (1) hour of order placement may not be eligible for cancellation or refund, as the preparation process may have commenced.

1.3 Approved refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment within a maximum of three (3) working days from the date of confirmation of cancellation.
 

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Refunds shall be considered only under the following circumstances:

  • The cake is delivered in a damaged condition, or

  • The cake is found to be spoiled or unfit for consumption at the time of delivery.

2.2 Customers must notify Yard Bakery immediately upon receipt of the product if such an issue arises.

2.3 To process the claim, customers may be required to provide clear photographic evidence of the product at the time of delivery.

2.4 Upon verification of the issue, Yard Bakery reserves the right to either:

  • Issue a full or partial refund, or

  • Offer a replacement, at its sole discretion.
     

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds shall not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Dissatisfaction due to personal taste preferences.

  • Failure of the recipient to accept delivery.

  • Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer.

  • Delivery delays caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control, provided reasonable efforts were made to deliver on time.

However, customers are encouraged to contact us to discuss any concerns.

5. Delivery Policy

5.1 Yard Bakery currently delivers cakes within Hyderabad city limits only.

5.2 Orders placed for delivery outside Hyderabad shall not be processed.

5.3 Most standard deliveries are scheduled after 5:00 PM.

5.4 Customers requiring delivery at a specific time must mention the preferred time in the order instructions at the time of placing the order.

5.5 While we strive to meet requested delivery times, exact time-specific delivery cannot be guaranteed. Customers are advised to allow a minimum buffer of one (1) hour for delivery.
 

6. Midnight Delivery

6.1 Midnight delivery service is available only for products listed under the “Midnight Cakes” category.

6.2 Customers must specifically select eligible products to avail midnight delivery.
 

7. Customization Requests

7.1 Customers with specific customization requirements (including but not limited to design, flavor modifications, or special messages) are advised to contact Yard Bakery prior to placing the order.

7.2 Yard Bakery reserves the right to accept or decline special requests based on feasibility.
 

8. Limitation of Liability

Yard Bakery’s liability, if any, shall be limited solely to the amount paid for the product in question. Under no circumstances shall Yard Bakery be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products or services.
 

9. Policy Amendments

Yard Bakery reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time without prior notice. Customers are encouraged to review this page periodically.
