1. Eligibility to Use

1.1 By using our website or placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable laws.

1.2 You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information while placing an order.

2. Product Information

2.1 All cakes and products listed on our website are subject to availability.

2.2 While we strive to ensure that product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate, minor variations may occur due to customization, lighting, screen settings, or handmade nature of the product.

2.3 As our cakes are freshly prepared and handcrafted, slight design or decoration variations shall not be considered defects.

3. Orders & Acceptance

3.1 All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

3.2 Yard Bakery reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its sole discretion.

3.3 An order shall be considered confirmed only upon successful payment and order confirmation communication.

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1 All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR).

4.2 Full payment must be made at the time of placing the order unless otherwise agreed.

4.3 Yard Bakery reserves the right to modify pricing at any time without prior notice. However, confirmed orders will not be affected by price changes.

5. Delivery Policy

5.1 Deliveries are available within Hyderabad city limits only.

5.2 Orders outside Hyderabad will not be processed.

5.3 Most cake deliveries are scheduled after 5:00 PM.

5.4 If a specific delivery time is required, customers must mention the preferred time while placing the order.

5.5 While we make reasonable efforts to deliver at the requested time, exact “on-the-dot” delivery cannot be guaranteed. Customers must allow a minimum buffer of one (1) hour.

5.6 For midnight delivery, customers must select cakes specifically listed under the “Midnight Cakes” category.

5.7 Yard Bakery shall not be held liable for delivery delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, incorrect delivery details, recipient unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

6.1 Customers are eligible for a 100% refund if the order is cancelled within one (1) hour of placing the order.

6.2 Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment within a maximum of three (3) working days upon approval.

6.3 Refunds may be issued if the delivered cake is damaged or spoiled at the time of delivery, subject to verification.

7. Customization & Special Instructions

7.1 Customers requesting special designs, flavor changes, messages, or specific decorations must contact us in advance.

7.2 Yard Bakery reserves the right to accept or decline customization requests based on feasibility and availability.

7.3 Once a customized order is prepared, it may not be cancelled or refunded except as stated in the Refund Policy.

8. Customer Responsibility

8.1 Customers must ensure accurate delivery details including name, contact number, and address.

8.2 Yard Bakery shall not be responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 All website content including logos, images, product designs, text, and branding elements are the intellectual property of Yard Bakery.

9.2 Unauthorized reproduction, copying, or use of website content is strictly prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Yard Bakery’s liability shall be limited strictly to the value of the purchased product.

10.2 Under no circumstances shall Yard Bakery be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products or services.

 

11. Force Majeure

Yard Bakery shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transportation disruptions, government restrictions, or unforeseen emergencies.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana.
